Carlson received his real estate salesman's license in 1976 and obtained
his broker's license in 1980. Before establishing his own company,
he worked as an office manager for a major real estate company and
Director of Training for additional companies. Joel has a lifetime
credential to teach real estate at the community college level and has
taught at the University of California, Irvine. His academic and
teaching credentials include a B. A. from Chapman University in Orange,
California, the designations of GRI, CRE and DREI. Joel's
professional accomplishments have helped him maintain involvement in the
industry as a member of the California Association of REALTORS® the
National Association of REALTORS® as past education chairman for the
Newport Mesa Association of REALTORS® and past education chairman for
the 32nd District of the California Association of REALTORS®. You
